In-Kind Work
Local offices of Deacon Construction, LLC can do “in-kind” projects for nonprofit organizations within the community, under certain circumstances. If your organization is interested in working with us on such a project, please contact the appropriate local Giving Committee Co-Chair after reviewing the overall In-Kind Project Guidelines.
In general, a feasible in-kind project will be of limited duration and modest budget — typically under two weeks and under $10,000.
All in-kind project opportunities must:
• Be reviewed and approved by the local Giving Committee.
• Meet other standard giving criteria for that office.
• Be approved by the in-kind project lead of that office for labor and other resources.
Any approved in-kind project will be managed with the same dedication and professionalism as any other Deacon project: with a project manager, detailed budget, schedule management, and safety plan.
