In-Kind Work

Do you know of a nonprofit near one of the Deacon offices that is in need of our services? Sometimes, what we can provide is far more valuable than a grant. Deacon employees are known for their 'can-do' spirit when it comes to our in-kind projects. Interested in examples?

  • Preconstruction services to evaluate options for expansion.

  • Installation of a ramp to ensure handicap accessibility.

  • Construction of a perimeter fence to enhance safety for young clients.

  • Installation of a new play structure to replace an unsafe one.

  • Renovation of a kennel for rescued dogs.

The possibilities are endless! With the talent and perseverance of Deacon employees, coupled with the ability to secure donated materials from partner companies, we can achieve a lot. Bring us your ideas, and we’ll see what we can do.

Any approved in-kind project will be managed with the same dedication and professionalism as any other Deacon project, complete with a project manager, detailed budgeting, schedule management, and safety plan. For more information, click here.

Dress for Success

Consisting of new flooring, fresh paint, LED lighting, improved ventilation, and new doors and window coverings, this was a full refresh for an organization that empowers women every day.

This effort wouldn’t have been possible without our incredible trade partners who donated services or discounted their rates: Gill Electric, Sustainable Interiors, Bridge City Glass, Advantage Heating & Cooling, Rich Holland Painting, Cash's Drapery, and Advantage Environmental. Projects like this remind us why we build.
